Over the holidays many of us enjoy spending happy hour with our coworkers and friends. One of our favourite spots is the Palm Room at the Fort Garry Hotel. Here you can relax amid the splendiferously festive decor as the pianist tickles the ivories nearby. Ask your waiter for one of these Christmas coloured cocktails.
Cranberry Cosmo
Ingredients
1 1/2 oz mandarin vodka,
1/2 oz triple sec,
the juice of three lime wedges
1 oz lime cordial (for bubbles).
Method
Shake with ice and strain.

Mint Chocolate Martini
Ingredients
1/2 oz vodka
1/2 oz crème de cacao
1/2 oz green crème de menth.
Method
Shake with ice. Serve with a dark chocolate truffle.

Silver Cloud:
Ingredients
1/2 oz amaretto
1/2 oz white crème de cacao
1/2 oz kahlua,
2 oz cream.
Method
Blend, serve topped with whipped cream and a cherry.
