Olive oil, white wine and feta give a tangy kick to this succulently smoky pairing of shrimp and sausage.
Ingredients
3 1/2 Tbsp olive oil
5 slices dry-aged chorizo sausage
5 jumbo shrimp
3 1/2 Tbsp white wine
1/4 red onion, diced
1/2 green bell pepper, diced
1/2 red bell pepper, diced
1 tomato, diced
1 tsp dried oregano
2 Tbsp crumbled feta
Method
1. Preheat a medium-sized pan over medium heat.
2. Add olive oil and chorizo. Sautée for 1 min.
3. Add shrimp. Sautée for 1 min.
4. Add white wine. Toss ingredients together for 1 min.
5. Add onions and peppers. Sautée for 1 min. Add tomatoes. Cook until vegetables are al dente.
6. Stir in oregano.
7. Add feta. Toss again. Remove from heat.
8. Serve with pita chips or garlic bread.
